ABVP CERTIFIES DIPLOMATE IN Canine and Feline PRACTICE
Joseph Tarulli, D.v.m., Dipl. ABVP of Margate has been certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) specializing in Canine and Feline Practice.
Dr. Tarulli mastered a rigorous and demanding application process and certification examination in order to obtain Diplomate status. To qualify to sit for the extensive, two-day examination, a veterinarian must complete either a residency program or six years of clinical veterinary practice. In addition, two case reports, references, descriptions of practice procedures, and professional education records must be submitted and pass review.
Dr. Tarulli is a graduate of the University of Juarez Veterinary Medicine, and has a special interest in internal medicine, ultrasound, endoscopy, and cardiology. Dr. Tarulli practices at Dr. Peter’s Animal Hospital located at 7318 Royal Palm Blvd., Margate, FL. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
The American Board of Veterinary Practitioners was established in 1978 and is accredited by a special committee of the American Veterinary Medical Association to recognize excellence in clinical practice through the certification of species-oriented specialists. Over 800 veterinarians worldwide are certified in one of ABVP’s eight practice categories: Canine and Feline, Food Animal, Equine, Dairy, Swine Health Management, Feline, Avian, and Beef Cattle. | Justin is a native Floridian who joined our team in 2003, as a Pet Care Assistant. After continued education and training, he joined our Veterinary Technician team. He has a great passion for the love and care of all pets. In his spare time he volunteers for the fire department. Justin also enjoys fishing, paintball and spending time with his family, friends, Sandy and Foxy, the family pets. |

Josh Harris | Josh is a native of Florida, who joined our team in 2003, as a Pet Care Assistant; with continued education and training; he then joined our team of Veterinary Technicians.. When he has time off from the office, he will come to the hospital to give T.L.C. to the pets. Currently, Josh is taking classes, working towards his degree. He volunteers at Sawgrass Nature Center; and enjoys spending time with his family, the family pets Sandy and Foxy. |  View |
Kristin Rodriguez
| Kristin was born and raised in New York; moved to Florida in 2004. She joined our team in August 2006, as a Veterinary Technician, with four years prior experience. Kristin prides herself in obtaining the knowledge for each department, in order to assist where ever needed. Her special interest is the coordination of the patient Laboratory profiles. She received a certificate for the completion of the ACT Training program In her spare time she enjoys drawing, spending time with her daughter, Renee, family members; as well as Wrinkles and Skyler, the family pets. |

Derek was born and raised in Missouri. He relocated to South Florida in 1989. He joined our clinic July 2010, with 12 years experience. Derek's interest include art, music, aviation and relaxing with friends. |

Mary Ann was born in Virginia, moved to Florida in 1979; joined our team in 2008, as a Client Service Representative. Prior to joining our team she was a certified technician, and groomer. Mary Ann attended classes to become a Nutritional Consultant. She prides herself in going the extra mile to offer "Five Star Customer Service", to the clients and pets alike. In her spare time she enjoys going to the prairie, riding quads, gardening and spending quality time with her husband, Dave and Basenji, Bahoo, their family pet. |

Jennifer Bulkley Jennifer born and raised in South Florida. Joined our staff in February 2010, as a part time Client Service Representative, with 5 years prior experience. She is currently in enrolled at Broward College working towards her Associates Degree to become a X-ray Technician.

Sara lived in Virginia, prior to moving to South Florida in 2003. She joined our team in August 2010, as a Client Service Representative; with 7 years experience in the veterinary field. Sara offers "Five Star Customer Service", to the clients and pets alike; this is her first love. She also is a part time Esthetician/Masseuse, her second passion in life. In her spare time she relaxes and enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her dog, Tyson, a Boston Terrier. |

O'MALLY

O'Mally is our lovable "Chunky" house cat. He was abandoned; the doctor's and staff decided to adopt him and keep and care for him. He is so adorable when he waddles around the clinic. Stop in and visit Mr. O'Mally! O'Mally will become your best friend...for he will sit on your lap while you wait. (Invited or not) He is always occupying one of the chairs in the reception area, just waiting for someone to come in to hold and pet him. O'Mally is now on a diet ...watch for his progress. We will post pictures of his progress. He will be our success story on weight reduction in animals. 4/21/10 Update - O'Mally's weight loss...his beginning weight was 18.4 lbs...his weight today is 16.4 lbs 6/18/10 UPDATE!!! - O'Mally's weight as of today is 15.8 lbs. 7/15/10 UPDATE!!! - O'Mally's weight as of today is 15.6 lbs. and as Sweet as ever :-) 7/24/10 WEIGHT UPDATE!!! - O'Mally's weight as of today is 15.5 lbs. 8/24/10 WEIGHT UPDATE!!! - O'Mally's weight as of today is 15.0 lbs. and still loosing. |

OLIVER

Oliver, thinks he owns the hospital;he partols the hospital and keeps everyone in check. If you fail to say hello, he will use his paw and pat your leg until you give him your undivided attention. He also will be seen lounging around the reception area; sitting on chairs waiting for attention from anyone who comes near him. Oliver was also abandoned and adopted by the doctors and staff. He is always receiving attention from someone...remember he demands your attention. To see him is to love him. |

FLUFFY
Fluffy is our lovable, adorable, very friendly Persian, who spends most of his time at the front desk, visiting with our clients and making his presence known. You can find him lounging on the counter or in his favorite spot...the computer/printer area, with the receptionists. |
